Accommodative Lenses

Accommodating implants do not have zones like a multifocal/bifocal lens but move forward and backward within the eye, mimicking the natural visual process. Ability to read well without spectacles with these lenses is linked to the degree of movement acheived and this varies from person to person.

Some people still need glasses to read. The design does not degrade the quality of vision and so is a safe option for those who drive at night.
