Olympian has LASEK at Midland Eye prior to Beijing Olympics

UK Olympian Fiona Pennie had LASEK carried out to correct shortsightness, 3 weeks before leaving the UK for Beijing.

After being selected to represent the UK in the Canoe Slalom event, Fiona and her coach wanted to make sure that she had the best possible chance of success which meant no distractions from lost or dislodged contact lenses!
